After Breast Surgery Care

Through a professional association with Mater Private Breast Cancer Centre, occupational therapist Denise Stewart offers treatment for women experiencing shoulder, neck or breast pain after breast surgery.

Soft scar tissue, skin "stretch-ability" and best shoulder movement are important goals after breast cancer treatments.

Denise combines her extensive training in chronic pain management with the special needs of women during and after their treatment, to provide a range of techniques for:

  • Painful scar tissue
  • Benign breast pain
  • Breast oedema
  • Shoulder pain
  • Restricted movement
  • Arm lymphoedema

Compression garments can be ordered if required.

Denise Stewart is a recognised occupational therapist provider with private health funds, DVA and HIC. Rebates for services are available where applicable.
